The numbers behind every post. On the grid.

Break 3 for Chrome is a Chrome extension that shows the views, likes, comments, shares and saves on every TikTok and Instagram post, then exports them to Excel, CSV or JSON. It reads what the sites already load into your browser.

What it does

  1. 01

    Numbers on every post

Views, likes, comments, shares and saves sit on the grid as you scroll a TikTok or Instagram profile, search or hashtag.

  2. 02

    Sort and filter

Order by date or views, set a minimum, pick videos or slideshows. The count updates as you do.

  3. 03

    Export

One row per post, to Excel or CSV. Built on your computer.

  4. 04

    Save the post itself

Download a post's video, thumbnail or caption.

  5. 05

    Scroll back to a date

Pick a date and it scrolls and collects until it gets there, so you export a full month, not a screenful.

The same profile filtered to posts with at least 400,000 views: 21 of 33 posts remain and the export buttons show the filtered countDemo data
Filter, then export

Ask for 400,000 views. Get 21 posts.

The export follows the filter. Set a minimum, and the spreadsheet, the thumbnails and the videos are only the posts that cleared it.

Four steps

  1. 1

    Add it to Chrome

One click on the store page. No account, no sign-in.

  2. 2

    Open a profile

A TikTok profile, search or hashtag, or an Instagram profile. The Break 3 panel appears on the page.

  3. 3

    Scroll

The numbers fill in as the page loads posts. Pause, clear or start again from the panel.

  4. 4

    Export or save

Excel, CSV or JSON for the table. Thumbnails and videos for the posts you filtered to.

Private

It has no server.

Nothing you collect is sent to us. The extension reads the post data your own browser has already loaded, and keeps it in the browser. If you later connect the Break 3 app, posts go to that app on your own computer and nowhere else. The full wording is on the privacy page.

Questions

How do I export TikTok video stats to Excel?

Add Break 3 for Chrome, open the TikTok profile, scroll until the posts you want have loaded, and press XLSX in the Break 3 panel. You get one row per post with views, likes, comments, shares and saves. Pick a date and it scrolls back to it for you.

How do I see Instagram Reels views for a whole profile?

Open the profile's Reels tab and scroll. Instagram loads view counts there, and Break 3 shows them on the grid and exports them. Dates and captions load on the main grid, so scroll that too and Break 3 joins the two into one list.

Can I download a TikTok or Instagram video, thumbnail or caption?

Yes. The panel saves a post's video, thumbnail or caption, for the posts you pick or the ones left after you filter.

Do I need the Break 3 app?

No. The extension works on its own. The app is the next step if you want to know why a post worked.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. The extension has no server. What it reads stays in your browser, and exports are built on your computer.

Do I need to log in to anything?

No login and no account for Break 3. You browse TikTok and Instagram as you normally would.

Why does Instagram show fewer numbers?

Instagram publishes views on the Reels tab and dates and captions on the main grid, so you scroll both and Break 3 joins them. Photos and carousels have no views, shares or saves on Instagram.

Which browsers?

Chrome today.

Is it affiliated with TikTok or Instagram?

No.
